Nestled between the Open Ocean and the Rain Forest

Come and relax in Ucluelet’s premiere B&B, located at the Southern tip of the Ucluelet Peninsula. Overlooking the open Pacific Ocean and the Wild Pacific Trail, the Amphitrite House is a unique west coast shoreline retreat.

Amphitrite House carefully angles to the wild open Pacific Ocean, optimizing views from almost every room in this spectacular west coast home. Two years in the planning, this Bed and Breakfast will dazzle your senses and rejuvenate your spirit.

Inspiration for the design initially came from Roy Henry Vicker’s Art Gallery in Tofino which features large exposed ridge round log beams, 14 foot high river rock fire place and bamboo flooring throughout.

Ocean Viewing

Inspired by the air quality and dynamic coastal weather, an outdoor protective alcove extends off the dining area. As most of the weather in Ucluelet approaches from the Southeast, a large northwest nook was designed to encourage outdoor ocean viewing of the crashing surf especially during the winter season when storms rage along the west coast.

Your Stay

Enjoy a candle lit bath in your deep, double soaker tub, surrounded by ambiance and tranquility. Step out and onto heated slate floors and wrap yourself in a plush robe.

From your private living area, or your bedroom, relax to the sound of the crashing waves only steps away.

After a rejuvenating sleep, begin your day with a gourmet breakfast served in our spectacular open concept dining room, or take breakfast to your room for that extended morning relaxation in the privacy of your own suite.
